ENCORE...a catering service is a fully licensed and insured catering service that was established in 1999 by Newport News native, Michael E. Rapier. Using his 30 years of experience in the food service industry, Michael formed a full service catering company. For the past ten years ENCORE has presented a wide range of options to satisfy the diverse hospitality needs of the Virginia Peninsula. In addition to corporate lunch delivery, cocktail and dinner parties, event planning and wedding reception services we also provide meals for the Meals on Wheels program and private school lunches. Whatever the type of service, it is our personal touch that really sets us apart. We customize our service to match our clients' specific needs. This, combined with passionate food preparation and appealing menu presentation, wins us rave reviews and earns us return engagements. |

ENCORE makes its home in the kitchen facilities of the Mulberry Inn, which is located on Warwick Boulevard at its intersection with Fort Eustis Boulevard. Delicious food is prepared daily in our kitchen and delivered to various locations across the Peninsula. If you do not have a facility for your event, we can help. We cater events at many rentable locations on the Peninsula that you might wish to consider. We also offer on-premise banquet facilities. The Colonial Room, Hunt Room and Cocktail Lounge of the Mulberry Inn offer a relaxed and intimate setting for any small gathering. |
